Benefits of Infra-red Heating
Increased Flexibility
Hot Yoga Manchester's dedication to well-being is grounded in the potential benefits of Far-Infrared heat, which is believed to facilitate the expansion of muscles and enable an extended range of motion. General research in this area, such as studies examining athletes in far-infrared environments, suggests participants may achieve stretching capacities beyond their normal range, empowering yoga practitioners at Hot Yoga Manchester to deepen poses and foster confidence in their practice.
Cardiovascular
Boost
NASA research indicates that far infrared heat positively impacts cardiovascular health, fostering heart wellness. Findings from The Mayo Clinic and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology reveal that infrared sauna therapy enhances blood vessel function in individuals with high cholesterol, diabetes, and smokers, while also reducing blood pressure, blood sugar levels, and facilitating weight loss. Additionally, a German study demonstrates that a one-hour session of far infrared heat effectively lowers blood pressure in hypertensive patients.
Increased Circulation
Scientifically validated principles support Hot Yoga Manchester's use of Far-Infrared heat to promote blood circulation by dilating the body's capillaries. This physiological response, supported by general research in the field, suggests benefits including blood pressure reduction, enhanced organ oxygenation, and the elimination of toxins.
Weight Loss
Hot Yoga Manchester recognizes the human body's adept temperature regulation system, engaging it when subjected to Far-Infrared heat. General research supports the idea that this engagement prompts energy-consuming cooling processes that contribute to calorie expenditure. The heightened metabolic activity between blood and tissue induced by Far-Infrared heat, as broadly observed, further supports calorie burning, making it conducive to weight management.
De-Toxification
In Hot Yoga Manchester's infrared-heated environment, perspiration is induced, harnessing the body's natural mechanism for expelling toxins. The process, as generally understood from research on infrared sauna use, involves water molecules within cells vibrating and expelling impurities into the bloodstream, effectuating a profound, cellular-level detoxification process.
Pain Relief
Hot Yoga Manchester's commitment to holistic well-being is exemplified in Far-Infrared heat's believed ability to penetrate tissues, muscles, and joints, facilitating healing and regeneration. This restorative effect is understood through the general principles of increased circulation, oxygenation, and detoxification. Consequently, infrared radiation is broadly recognized as a valuable modality for pain relief, addressing both minor injuries and chronic ailments, as supported by research in various health and wellness domains.

Our Commitment to You
We want to ensure that all our students get the best experience and avoid the disappointment of not being able to attend classes because they are full and then only to find that spaces were available on the day due to last minute cancellations and no shows.
We remain as understanding as always in terms of why last minute cancellations can occur (children get sick or you have got stuck in traffic, last minute work issues for example!) but we need to ensure that students don’t book on to multiple classes to secure their space “in case” they can attend, and then fail to turn up. If in doubt, cancel early!
Booking a class is a commitment just like your yoga practice, if you book then please be sure to attend.
