Studio Ettiquette

Updated: Aug 2

Welcome to our vibrant yoga community! Stepping into your first studio class might seem a tad overwhelming, but rest assured, we've all been there. It's a journey we've embraced, and we're excited to share it with you.

At our studio, diversity is our strength. Our students range in shape, size, gender, and age, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned yogi, you'll find a space that feels just right for you.

Your well-being is our top priority. If you are feeling under the weather, please take care of yourself and avoid coming to class, we all need to take a break sometimes. If you have a class booked then kindly cancel your reservation in accordance with our cancellation policy so others on the waitlist can book on to the class—limited class sizes mean every spot is precious, and we want everyone to have the chance to join.

To allow you plenty of time to get settle, our doors open 15 minutes before class starts. For your first class, aim to arrive at least 15 minutes early. This allows ample time for you to meet the team, your teacher get a tour of the studio, and complete any forms, ask any questions giving you time to settle before we begin the practice.

Travel light on your yoga journey. Wear comfortable clothes, like what you would choose for a gym session—lightweight and easy to move in. Bring your own mat and a towel that covers its entirety. Do not worry if you forget; in an emergency we do have a few mats and towels in the studio that you can rent for just £2 each.

Secure lockers are available for your valuables free of charge. Please note, we do not allow mobile devices, smart watches in the studio space, this is your time to completely switch off, it is also very distracting for the teacher and other students, please do not be offended if you are asked to place them in the lockers before class.

And of course, hydration is key! Bring a water bottle or top it up. at the studio, ideally with electrolytes added. We have also got separate changing facilities, including electric showers, on-site. Please try to keep showers brief to avoid long wait times for others, and please remember to bring your own towel and toiletries.
